Have Fun Whatever You are Doing

Listen, this life is short. And as far as we know, we just have one. So wherever you are on your journey, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or final quarter of your life–make it a great one. Let go of whatever has happened in your past, and have a great today, tomrrow and all the rest of the tomorrow’s to come.
Like today, we ordered a new telephone system which is tied into our cable and internet connections…a bundle in other words. And the total cost is lowered. Except the TV went off because the order hadn’t been put through correctly. And of course, it means staying on the phone and being put through to different people, and explaining for the fifth time, what the problem is. And here’s the thing. We can either be upset about it, or just stay focused and keep on the line, and get it sorted out.
I believe that’s what life is about. Having fun whatever you are doing. So when Jeff is on the phone, he chats with people, and has fun with them…asks them where they are located….chats about the weather, the phone, cars…whatever, and the service goes from being blah to fantastic! He gets what he wants, and the people on the other end of the line, who normally have to deal with upset, angry people, feel great.
