Joy at Work

When you go to work, the first thing you will notice are the people: co-workers, colleagues and customers. And it is how you  interact with them that will determine how your day goes. The empowering thing is that you are in charge and you always have two choices. One choice will make you feel good, and the other choice will make you feel bad, so here are your choices:

Choice One–feels good. You make eye contact, you smile, you listen, you show empathy where necessary and you get on with your work feeling great.

Choice Two–feels bad. You look down at the floor, you avoid people, you ignore others’ problems and you get on with your work isolated and feeling bad.

Finding joy at work is your choice, your decision, your power. It is in your hands whether you want to do things that will make you feel good or do things that will make you feel bad. And the other wonderful thing is this….you are where you are. In any moment you can switch to your human brain and have an amazing day! Rock N Roll Jeff & Val
