The Pain in My Back
October 5th, 2006
I am going through a very interesting time at the moment. On Tuesday of this week I was unloading boxes of books which was very exciting as this is my new book, Mission Possible with Steven Covey and Brian Tracy. I obviously pulled a muscle in my back. So for the last two days I’ve been walking around with pain. It’s really interesting to see how I behave when I’m in pain. My animal brain wanted me to immediately stop doing everything to stop the pain. It didn’t want me to hurt myself or have any discomfort. So I got the opportunity to make a choice–I could either moan, be upset, take it easy, and not be in much pain. Or by transcending into my human brain I could actually carry on with my work and have a really great time…even with the pain.
So it’s really great to get the message again that everything is a state of mind. I feel so blessed that I have the ability to make a choice in my life.
Amazingly yours, Jeff Gee
